Update 7-19-06: Looky here for replacement Moko Delrin sliders available. ($10.00 donation back to FJRForum.com for every set installed at WFO. :D

Skyway replacement Moko Delrin Sliders

Since fjrforum.com obviously takes a lot of time and money for the general upkeep, I am making this offer for all 2006 FJR owners during WFO. For every set of my sliders I install during WFO, I will contribute $15.00 of every sale back toward the upkeep of the forum. I am not planning on any riding, so I will even install them for you if you like.

$85.00 for polished aluminum

$100 for blue anodize

Sorry I don't have a picture of the blue anodize mounted up, but I will soon I'm sure.

I just assumed, with a name like kaitsdad, that he couldn't possibly be gay. Bike says otherwise.

Good deal, skyway. Nice job.

Ari,

Wonky was fresh out of the box when Ian took that pic. Just FYI, she still hasn't had a bath. She's starting to aquire a fine patina of road sploodge.

Once I'm finished with our Pacific Coast Romp, the WFO5 SS1k and my trip home, she still won't have had a bath.

Although I will admit I clean the bug guts off the windshield, unlike beeroux. But then, I'm an old fart, unlike the young Mr. Z, and I need to be able to see through the windshield.

Oh yeah - so this doesn't turn into a total hijack, Good Job, Skyway !!

Good on ya Ian. I bet you make back a bunch of good karma for this one. And, possibly, some free drinks too!

Hey Skyway,

Anything for us '05 and earlier owners?

Bill
Bill,

Just thinking about you. I saw that a rider went down on Knightsbridge today. Good to see you post.

Pig

Pig,

I hadn't heard that, hope it is nobody I know.

Bill

Secondary post,

Even if I don't know them, hope they are OK. Knights Bridge can be tricky, lots of cars parked along the road. People coming and going from the river on hot days and I'm sure drinking to much.

Bill

I mounted a set on my '05, but I already had the "Moto" brackets, so I just added the Skyway bobbins.

A very generous offer, Skyway, blessings on you!

:clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

Skyway: Very generous offer, which I'd like to take you up on. Please put me on your list for your sliders, for my '06.

What days/times do you anticipate installing the sliders?

NOW, if only there were booths for installation of:

--bar ends,

--radar detectors,

--gps,

--cruise control,

--fuel cells,

--magnum blasters,

--lights,

--power commander w/dyno,

--highway footpegs,

--Russell or Meyer seats,

--Wilburs shocks,

--windshields,

--wireless communication gear (sat radio, ipod, cell phone, etc.).

Way to go Ian, I won't be riding much either... guess I'll help supervise ya !, keep you and Christie hydrated and such !

Any word on producing extended Derlin pucks? Not enough interest I guess? Blue boys all want the bling bling aluminum ?

Since I'm not riding, I plan to leave my bike near to a certain Mr. Security AKA MadMike2. Find him, and I will not be far away. I will install them at any reasonable time during the day.

So, is the answer 'no' for the 03-05 bikes?
I have some replacement moko sliders, but sadly not an entire bolt on kit as with the 06.

Stand close enough and I'll put ya to work. :D

I haven't forgotten about the extended delrin sliders for the 03-05 FJR. The material cost is a little more than aluminum, so to get them going I may need some advance notice from you guys before making any. I will start another post for them in due course and see what the response is.

There is also a distinct possibility that I will also have in my possession some much anticipated right side Audiovox CC Mounts. This unit will fit all model year FJR's.
