Well those of you who made it (good seeing you Rogue) I KNOW you had a great time, and those of you who didn't, do yourselves a favor and try to catch one of the other Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundations Ride4Kids events (www.Ride4Kids.com) this year, there is 37 of them across the country. We had incredible weather, clear, sunny and around 80 degrees for a unbelieveable beautiful police escorted ride around the Palos Verdes Penn. What a day! Great weather, a 1,000 or so bikes and a heart warming (and unfortunately heart wrenching) 'Celebration of Life' after the event where the spirit of the event is honored along with the "STARS' who are the kids who survived (or are surviving) their fight with brain tumors. My daughter is a survivor and was asked to speak about her experiences which she did, all the kids did great -- it's ALL ABOUT THEM!

We were lucky to be close to the front of the pack of somewhere around 1,000 bikes

Some of the 'boys' who made it all possible, they certainly made it fun running all those lights and stop signs

Looks like a great day indeed. Good on the kids and good on the motorcyclists. Great pics, by the way.

Looks similar to a ride I did last year here

But this year they want $100 a head to ride, last year was $35. Its for charity, but I think they will lose riders esp the 2 uppers at that price.

Which is better 400 riders @ $25 - $10,000 for charity or 100 riders for the same amount of money. I think the 400 cause you get more of the "word" out.
