Well those of you who made it (good seeing you Rogue) I KNOW you had a great time, and those of you who didn't, do yourselves a favor and try to catch one of the other Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundations Ride4Kids events (www.Ride4Kids.com) this year, there is 37 of them across the country. We had incredible weather, clear, sunny and around 80 degrees for a unbelieveable beautiful police escorted ride around the Palos Verdes Penn. What a day! Great weather, a 1,000 or so bikes and a heart warming (and unfortunately heart wrenching) 'Celebration of Life' after the event where the spirit of the event is honored along with the "STARS' who are the kids who survived (or are surviving) their fight with brain tumors. My daughter is a survivor and was asked to speak about her experiences which she did, all the kids did great -- it's ALL ABOUT THEM!
Amanda and the Old Man getting ready to go
We were lucky to be close to the front of the pack of somewhere around 1,000 bikes
Great views - it was a glorious day
Trump's National Gold Club - Palos Verdes Ca., Not bad eh?
All along the route people waved and cars honked their horns ---
Ariving back at home base, Honda's National Headquarters
Some of the 'boys' who made it all possible, they certainly made it fun running all those lights and stop signs
Mike Traynor (along with his wife Debbie) founder and President of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation
My daughter Amanda doing her thing
A shot of the crowd attending the 'Celebration of Life'
The 'STARS' of the event - why we do what we do
The Grand Total - $216,000 for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation
