Man what a finish, were both Colin and Nicky going a bit hot into the last turns or what? Looks like Nicky's dirt tracker background paid off. Too bad for Colin but nice to see Nicky add up some big time championship points. Rossi did awesome considering where he started from. What can you say about Hopkins, doesn't look like he can hang with the big dogs.

+1 on everything you wrote. What the hell happened at the end. I couldn't tell who did what to whom. It looked like both riders were off the track and then Edwards bike hooked up badly and flipped him. Hayden was propably used to that slipping and sliding from his dirt days. Really too bad for Edwards though, he ran a great race.

I think that Hayden is going to start racking up a big lead. He is getting more and more confident, and the bike is performing. Great season so far.

Great race for Nicky. At the beginning, he seemed to be holding back a bit, but, I think he was just giving himself a chance to make sure everything was OK with the bike before he started pushing it. Once he got rolling, and set his sights on the leaders, he looked very determined.

Colin also ran a great race, but, unfortunately, took a protective line when, in hindsight, he didn't have to.

I think Hopkins has the ability, I don't think his bike does.

How can you not admire Rossi? Once healthy, he's going to pull out all the stops to chase down Nicky.

If Nicky continues with his conisistent performances, he's going to be difficult to catch, but, it is possible.

It was AWESOME! For some time it was three Americans up front. That was cool. Colin Edwards just gassed it at the wrong time (in the grass) and it spat him off.

I had the priveledge of listening to Colin at a Sportbike Night get together in Sacramento a few years back. After a couple beers he was a genuine stand up comedian!

Oh, someone needs to but "Spoiler" in the title of this thread.

Though I'm a huge Rossi fan, if Haden steps it up just a bit more, I think he will be uncatchable, even for the doctor. There are 9 races left, so anything is possible. A great season so far.

Hey Jeff, I didn't actually say who won in the title and besides if they looked at this topic they should know we are talking racing! :p PS Stradas are on the way.
