Alright stop it already. I'm trying to find some nice Textile pants for my bride. What is the choice of the female riders here?

I got my wife a pair of Tour Master Venture Air to match mine. (Ain't we just cute?) Worn as overpants, they have a mesh shell, removable waterproof liner, and further, a removeable quilted thermal liner. Zips down the side so dressing with boots on is no trouble. Fastens to jackets with zipper at the back of the waist. Comfy when hot, comfy when cold.

Adjustable CE armor in the knee, just a foam pad at each hip. Seat area is thicker material for road-surfing. They have a nice stretchy area above the knee for flexibility.

This was last fall and I was told they were scarce, so I don't know what Tour Master's come up with as a replacement, or if they'll just make more, like Jay Leno's Doritos.

I have a pair of First Gear pants that I really like as do several of my girlfriends that ride... they're good for all year wear with a removable liner in winter and some mesh panels for summer. I actually had to get a men's pair so they were long enough (33" inseam here... :) ). Be sure she does the "sit test" in them (straddling a chair as if sitting on the bike) to see if they ride up too far.

EDIT: This is the style that I have - HT Air 2.0 Mesh Overpant

They have women's sizes as well:

A trend is emerging: my wife has the Firstgear TPG pants and really likes them. Fit and finish appears to be excellent.
