Their Sunset / My Sunrise
Well,
My wife has been riding for a couple years now on her 08' Honda 750 Shadow Aero.
Only this year, she began expressing the discomfort of the bike in the 70mph-75mph range during
our longer group rides. Well, being 5'9", I felt she would out grow it anyways.
So she decides to start shopping for more HP. Unlike me, when she makes up her mind it's
color first, style next then bikes make and model.
So, we know whatever it's gonna be, it's going to be red like her es330. Even with my
attempt to nudge her to be open on color, just find out what fits her in style and power.
Could not get her on the ST kick, she wanted to stay in the cruiser family, with a touch of sportiness.
It started out being the Honda VT1300 New Sabre...however it was pushed out by the Yamaha V-star 1300.
Found it, test rode it, but dealer was pushing wrong price....the nerve of her to get lemony with me for
telling her to walk away from that deal....Perfect red or not..
So, then it was test driving a larger bike. She even fell in love with the New Yammie Stryker.
So after she searched and was trying to get a V-Star 1300 Tourer, from 200 miles away, that fell through.
Then it was on to Suzuki.
She test drove this bike:
and then she was in love.
She called me at work, just a hooping and hollering that she had found her bike..."In love" were her words.
I had to stop and remember she was on a test ride.
Finally after going through 3 dealers locally who could not get the red color Boulevard M90 for her, we
were making plans to drive 300 miles to the dealer who had one.
But, being relentless as she is, she found a dealer down south on I-45 in Lamarque, Tx who said they
could get her red Boulevard.
So...of course, we went there to get the bike, and they were having trouble getting it to the dealership.
We rode back without the bike, but paperwork signed.
And at 9pm tonight they Delivered it to the doorstep and took her 750 away.
Here is her new Suzuki Boulevard M90...aptly named "Jewell"; we had to go to wally world to get a key chain.
