My 06AE is officially totaled. I found a shop near by that has a brand new 06AE still. They are listing it at $13,299. How much should I be able to get this for with the 08's coming out?

I would reccomend Dan at Desert valley powersports. If he has one or can get one it will be the best price around. Many here have bought there and their service and parts are great. I have a dealer 3 miles from my door and I will go to them for anything else. Tired of getting screwed. Better to love the one screwing you Many links here, look in vendors. fred jr

I bought a new '06 AE last week for $11,000. But the dealer said he bought it at a Yamaha "warehouse sale."

That's basically what I told the salesperson. I knew that the 06's were going for about that last year when the 07's came out. Also, I went to see it and it had some cracks near the glove box where it had fallen onto another bike. It also had boot scuffs on the bags. They wouldn't budge on the price because that is what they had into it. I told them I would keep looking. I will look at the other places that were suggested. I will also see if they decide to sell it cheaper this winter since I doubt that anyone would buy it like that.

Maybe it was a 06 I saw and they dropped the price? I didn't see a clutch lever and immediately lost interest so I didn't look at it further.

I bought my 07A there on Aug 25th for $12048 while they were having their $200 over cost sale (plus no freight or setup charges). They didn't have any AE's in stock at that time.
