What is the group name?

My friend is scheduled to be back from Iraq on July 20th in Cedar Falls, IA. So, I was wondering if there is a group similar to Patriot guard that greet returning solders? He is a ride him self and sure would be glad to see many people welcoming his unit.

I'm unaware of any organized group like the Patriots who greet returning soldiers who have completed their tour in Iraq/Afghanistan.

On some of my days off, I go out to the DFW Airport to greet returning soldiers on their two weeks R & R flights that come into DFW and help direct them to their respective flights to their respective home towns and we do have some returning soldiers who have completed their tour.

Just not familiar with organized group meeting them in their respective home towns.

Most of our flights we deal with come in directly to Pope AFB. I see issues getting everyone on motorcycles on base. I have not heard of a group that meets returning flights with soilders from overseas. Sorry

Many VFW Posts are starting to do this very thing. You might try calling one in your local area.

Toe, I looked at Patriot Guard and it appears they only do it for fallen soldiers unless I missed something. Thank god this is not the case.

They definitely do welcome home rides for returning soldiers. Check the website again and contact them. I know you will be pleasantly surprised by the showing. Its actually refreshing for us to do a ride that honors the service of the returning men and women.
