Here is another max capacity for the side cases. MsNASCAR and I were able to fit a case of wine in the side cases, 6 on each side. The people at Navarro Winery were kind enough to wrap each bottle in bubble wrap for us first. Then we had the joys of riding down hwy 128 to 101 south to home, when we lived in Santa Rosa.C'mon, now! From the Bin 'O Facts:
Sidecases
Capacity (each): 30 liters according to European website references.
29.2 liters +/-1 liter according to Ignacio measurement.
Or, using the BikerGeek measurement, roughly 20 bottles of beer. Each. :yahoo:
Depends on the size of the ice cubes. :blink:So 20 bottles each… Are they Iceable?
For the lowly can drinkers out there...
An 18-pack of cans (still in carton) lying flat will just squeeze into each case (kinda like this <->). There's still enough room above and below it for an adequate amount of ice.
And you can rip the corner open if you need one quick without disturbing everything.
I took that picture last year at CFR, deepsheet.Where'd you get the Rickard's thimbledik?
