In the 50s now, but low 20s this friggin morning.
Where's Al fookin Gore when you need him?
You gotta settle for Al Roker.

The problem with the bridge, I mean besides the first step being a doozy, is the gap. Theirs and 8 foot span in front of that with nothing but air.
Strictly a 'Hold my beer' jump.
That can get ugly. Remember S.F. 1989? (About 17 seconds in.)

There are a couple of inches of snow down with more coming.
At least that'll be good for the ski 'resorts' in the area.
Ya right Andy, "Ski Resorts" in Ohio. You kill me! Everybody knows Ohio is all flat and boring and ****.

-30 here this morning.

9 degrees here this morning...with a high of 16

Chilly down here... 60 degrees this morning! High of 73 though so should warm up nicely. The thing that never changes down here though is THE ROADS FREAKING SUCK! The only thing fun is the dirt and "forest" roads... and even most of them are straight and flat. Other than that it's sand tracks... I might need to buy a BMW GS650 though... my little WR250R is not so much fun on the highway here. She has real trouble keeping up with the 80+ MPH traffic getting to and from the fun stuff.

-3 here this morning. luckily, there was no wind. Threw some wood in the outdoor furnace, told the boss it was too damn cold to be jacking around outside and spent the day in dad's shop doing some machining. Brother in law needed wheel spacers to put steel tracks on his skid steer.

Ready for spring already.

Beautiful weather almost year round... sucky roads ALL YEAR LONG. No really, the roads suck. Riding wise... I was MUCH better off in Western PA even if I had to hibernate in the winter. There I pulled out of my driveway, went to the end of the street, made a right, and I was on a wonderful twisty two lane blacktop. Here... well... the last real twisty road I was on was coming back from Lewisburg, WV months ago.

There is a trade-off...

South Flatistan roads do suck, unless you want to break the sound barrier. You need to get north of I-4 to get anywhere near of the edges of your tires. Not mountain roads by any means, but not yardstick roads either.

BOT, 50's today, with rain on the way.
