Looks like their predictions of Hermine were spot on:

Should be about 40 F here in ID when I take off tomorrow morning for FL. Not bringing the electrics cuz I want them for the northern riding. Figure I'll be chilly for a couple hours then all good to hot afterwards.

Unseasonably cool, high was 57, foggy and drizzly most of the day, thunderstorms predicted now.

Raining with heavy downpours earlier today. It should clear for the afternoon.

That's OK the yard needed the rain

And suddenly, the fall weather is upon us! High temperatures the last two days have been in the mid 50's with an overnight low tonight just a few degrees above freezing. I rode for 150 miles or so both yesterday and today and wished I had dug out the heated gear - in the high 40's much of the time. It is supposed to improve a bit in a couple more days but I would expect our first "hard" freeze within a week or two. The Canadian Maritime provinces are somewhat moderated by the proximity of the ocean at this time of year - snow that stays isn't usual before late November. Nasty cold isn't expected until January or so and then it can get really ugly. Some people like autumn but, for me, it is the beginning of the end of riding season. HATE winter.

Bright and sunny, high of 87°F after an overnight low of 55°, Normal early fall weather in the High Desert of Southern California.

Man, I am feeling your pain! I hate winter more than you.

So much so that I uprooted my home, quit my great job, and moved to where Pimento Cheese is an actual menu item.

I hate winter! Good luck to you.

After perfect / warm weather for EOM weekend, it would appear that fall is upon us all of a sudden.

Glad we already had fall Tech Day.
