OK, first the request..for the busy, then the story. I'm looking to take my wife to lunch from the address below, to somewhere not too far away that I can get to without ever getting on a freeway. In fact the smaller/less crowded the road the better. I'm sure many of you know place around here, please advise.
I'm located at:
3900 Swiss Ave. Dallas TX. 75204
Now the story. My wife and I lived in AZ before coming to Dallas. She did not mind going riding on my bike at all. It was really easy to get to very nice places on pretty deserted two lane roads. Now we are stuck for awhile in Downtown Dallas and the expressways (rightfully so) scare her a bit. I miss having her go for rides with me so I'm adding a rider-passenger intercom, plus just bought her a cool summer riding jacket and gloves. Now, I'd like to test out the new stuff next week by taking her out for lunch, but I want her to be as comfortable as possible, thus avoiding the freeways. When we were in AZ I always found the best places to eat on the bike, but schedule here is pretty busy. Hoping some of you could throw in some good restaurant suggestions and routes.
Thanks!
