Saw a picture of a white FJR on another site recently. It was a police bike from Malta. Had dark blue strips on the side. White really stood out and looked different. Man if I was a cop I sure would not mind getting paid to ride an FJR all day. I would buy a white one, but then I would have to call my self Whiteman.

Except for the shape of the bags, I think I like this one better than the Dutch Police FJR. Thanks for the pic, I hadn't seen it yet.

That bike looks like crap, as a whole. Though the P.D.-specific sidebags are a nice touch.

Some of the police dept. here in the Bay Area of San fran are going to ST1300's. The BMW is too high maintanence and repair problems and accordinly the FJR has too little output on the altenator. So far I have talked to three different officers from different cities that are changing to the ST.
