Or maybe it was us on 10/22!

How fast were you going in that turn? For real. Maybe it's just the picture, but you look like your counterbalancing out of the turn and that's why the bike had to be heeled over so far. Likewise your pillion. I'm betting that lean could have been reduced by 50% with better body positioning. Again, maybe it's just the picture, but that turn looks *really* awkward.

The corner was fine. We were fine. Wasn't even close. If you've been to Deals Gap and push it a little, you have to lean it. Believe me, it's just the pic. Speed was approx. 40-45 @ apex. We were having a blast that day! Yeah, you could reduce the angle if you just putt through there, but what fun would that be? lol

I've been. I've pushed. ;)

Your 45mph looks a bit different than mine ;)

BINGO

@chornbe:

I know you're trying to be helpful with technique tips and all...but if he says its just the picture - you should take him at his word I think.

BTW, your picture vs his - good example of apples vs oranges.

Everybody cool? B)

Looks to me like they are both sitting straight up in the seats, although the pic does could leave a perception like they are leaning to the outside of the turn instead of inside to reduce lean angle.

As for you and he, his corner may very well of been a bit tighter than the one your one necessitating more lean.

Look, I'm not trying to be argumentative. Whatever. Enjoy.

I was there 10-14. with two buds. One on a Honda 919 and the other a forum member bristercl on his 05 fjr. We had a blast! :yahoo:

You notice my right hand covering the front break????????????????? wasn't squeezing, just covering, which is a good thing for most highway traveling and commuting to and from work, for average daily riding. It gives me that extra fraction of a sec. response time, but on the dragon..............hmmmm.........it looks bad. That was the first thing I noticed, I'm sure others will find plenty else to critique.
