I've contact Givi as late as last week and they said they do not have a color match trunk as of yet and the rack to mount it will be about another month

I gotta tell ya - It's a real quandry. Do I ride, or do I install? :bigeyes:

Note: If I take the value of the bike; all my gear (including the $1,000 Roadcrafter suit) and all of the farkles (future ones included) I am still thousands less than a K1200GT - and I have a far more dependable bike IMO.

OH - I also bought a fendaextenda - and it won't fit the 06. Simply not needed.

you can lose the Datel if you have the Passport, it has a digital voltmeter built into it....

Just installed Throttlemeister on my 06 & yes it is the same as the 03-05's.

Also installed Sirius Starmate with Hoon mount & autocom.

On my wish list:

TOG's just not sure what's available.

Taller windscreen when available.

Trunk & backrest for the wife, just not that huge overpriced thing Yamaha is offering, have to wait on Givi or Shad.

Go for the Skyway, or Moto frame sliders. Beefier and better if it goes down in motion.

I have Sliders from BikeJohnny, Skyway's are very nice and a better deal.

I'm still waiting to find out how many parts I can cannibalize from the '04 back to the AE, when it eventually shows up. Then again, maybe I'll just keep the '04 as a "beater".

Those are Guardian locks, rekeyed to the Yamaha ignition key, with custom brackets from TownsendsFJR1300 at aol dot com. Drop him a line if you want some. He had a listing in the classifieds but it may be still unavailable.

Nope - need the hardware !!

We weren't sure what it would need - Skyway is looking to get his hands on an 06 for a bit to measure it.
