Myself, MSC and at least 1 mystery rider from Louisiana.

While I was at Bogarts signing up, a few trailers full of bikes from Louisiana pulled in. It had an 06 Feej. You here?

Plenty of slots still open as of 4 this evening.

Jwilly? Borrec? come on!

BTW, it is supposed to be free to spectators.

It is just not worth it to do all that prep to my bike and rent or buy the riding gear for one day. I did this once when I had my Bandit and wished I had done something else. I would rather buy farkles or spend it on a weekend trip. Thanks for the invite though and have fun. :)

I agree. I also wouldn't put the heavy and expensive FJR on the track. I hope to do trackdays someday but I'd use a 600cc CBR, R1 that is better for track use and I bought for a couple grand used. I'd plan to push it really hard with the knowledge I could drop it like everybody else I know who does trackdays.

Have fun though, be safe.

I plan to ride over there one of these days to see the museum though.

I thought about it real hard. I would just be sick if I wadded my FJR... it would be expensive. Like Daddysbike, I'd like to get a used track bike, already set up for it, with replaceable/repairable fiberglass to save some coins if I went down. Although, there's something to be said for knowing you and your bike's limits that is your primary mode of transportation (FJR).

I did a track at Barbers 3 years ago on my FJR, and although its not the optimum track bike, it does aquit itself quite well for a sports tourer. I learned alot about the handling of the FJR and it helped me on the street.

But it did give me the desire to go get an R6 dedicated for track use only.
