Why I Like Being Back Here

I love politics and love political forums. I love writing my ideas and thoughts down and debating with intelligent people with opposing views.

But

If doesn't work in lots of special interest forums like this one. Does it matter if you are a Liberal or Conservative when discussing the which is the best seat heater or boot? Will it help you ride the Dragon or New Jersey highways better? No. It won't.

I've seen several forums go to hell in a handbasket when people started talking politics even in "reserved room" like this one. So I really like the fact that when a conversation turns political, it gets shut down.

And so, I'm glad I came back here. Thanks everyone!

We'll take your observation and compliment in the manner intended and note itself isn't political...or at least the creatively worded political thing I've seen since being on the forum.

But, knowing that it would become that way in less than 2 more posts....we'll oblige your poignant observation.
