I recently saw a HD Tourer with what appeared to be Hyperlites that alternated. This is my idea but not sure if it'll work or if anyone has tried. I want to purchase two hyperlite kits (4 lights total) and the WigWag Backoff module. I want to splice the backoff into the brake wire but instead of hooking the other end into the FJR's brakes, hook them into the hyperlites which I will have staggered. The effect will be the FJR's brake light will light up as usual while the hyperlites will flash and alternate. Do you all think this can be done? Thanks

Been there, done that, on my ST1100, works like a charm. The wig-wagger has three wires. The instructions tell you to cut the brake wire, then put the red wire on the bike side of the wire, then the white wire (as I recall) on the cut wire to the brake lights, and connect the ground wire. In your case, you want to just tie onto the brake light wire with the red wire, run the white wire to your hyperlights, and the black wire to ground. The OEM brake lights will work normally and the hyperlights will flash.
