I got my fork springs from Wilburs. I was just out in the garage and I decided to compare them to the stock 03 springs. I have the 04 springs in the bike now and I don't remember a difference in length between the 03 and 04 springs (there may be but it's been a year).

Anyway, the Wilburs springs are about two inches longer than stock 03 springs. Does this sound like what the rest of you are seeing? I'm a little concerned about having enough room to compress the springs without them compressing all the way.

I'll call Klaus on Monday to get the specs, but if anyone already knows.....

Yep...It's a cool Ramblin. That's the Wilbers way of doing things, instead of changing spring rate and keeping the same length spring, they keep roughly the same spring rate as stock and just add 2" which changes the whole ride of the bike. It's still smoth riding, but firmer, has less dive, without being a harsh track bike setup.

Swapped the springs out this weekend. The Wilbers were 11 1/4 inches vs the stock 05' of 10 1/2 inches. I checked the airspace gap before dumping the old oil and the left was 110 mm, the right was 115 mm. :( Test ride will have to wait until some of the white stuff melts. double :(
