Went to see Wild Hogs tonight with Tim Allen and John Travolta. JT looked like he had been riding bikes for years, but TA looked scared to death when they showed him actually riding the bike.

Watchable light entertainment about 4 forty plus guys who go on a road trip to re-live their youth, and keep having to stop to pee.....Ring any bells out there? Too close to home for me! Cameo's by the Teutle's of OC Choppers and Peter Fonda.

(I didn't go with Tim Allen and John Travolta,.......they were in the movie, I went with the wife)

Edit: £12 for 2 tubs of popcorn and 2 cokes. I thought I had bought the f*****g cinema!

It was a good movie :clapping: even better when it's free because your Sis works there :yahoo:

If I recall correctly (which I often don't) John is the only 'real' rider in the group. The rest were trained for the movie.

Saw it after a group ride. Over 20 riders laughing our butts off the whole time!!!!

Hogs, not Hoggs. Great flick! I downloaded, I mean saw it at the theater after giving my left nut for admission, a few weeks ago :) I was on the floor after the Teutul's scene! 'Here's you wine cooler pop.' 'Thanks, son. I'LL SEE YOU HOGS IN HELL! [wink]'

LOL

I've got to go see the movie because a close friend of mine was one of the extras in the movie. He was one of the towns people walking across the street at some point. He lives in SantaFe and got hooked up helping the SantaFe film committee that helps expedite film crews using the area. Ended up with him and his wife as extras in the movie. They both ride bikes so they got a real kick out of being in the movie.

No one mention Ray Liotta and William H. Macy. They were the best part of the film. I thought it was cute. One doesn't need to spring for the tickets though just wait for the DVD and rent it.

Lorie and I saw it about two weeks ago. This was the first movie in many years where we actually laughed out loud!

I'm not a Harley guy at all, but it was still painful to see one of 'em doing a flip over one of those concrete parking blocks. Pretty good movie though...I give it a :good:

...especially if you like gay jokes and Hollywood contrived situations.

Its cute in a pre-teen slapstick kinda way.

I wish National Lampoon would make a motorcycle movie.

How about Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Dan akyrold, and (sigh...) John Belushi.

Now that would be a movie... Killer Bees on Bikes

I guess I'm showing my age....

I think "Easy Rider" had more actual riding footage.

..so anybody here "knuckle tap" your buddy riding alongside?

...I know, I know.....everybody's a critic........

I too thought it was a hoot. And all of it, except the PCH/Pacific Ocean shots was shot in New Mexico!

Gorgeous scenery. Just like we'll have during the SW-FOG next month!

Check out 'Masters of Menace'. It's not a National Lampoon movie, but Dan Aykroyd, James Beushi, John Candy, George Wendt and Malcolm Smith all make an appearance.
