Actually months back when I was just shopping I found an unfavorable post concerning this dealership. Nevertheless, while trolling for a new bike to purchase, I spotted a 06' fjr1300, w/47k miles or a new Kawi C14. When I called and spoke to the a salesman, I got a guy named 'Moody'... We spoke about a new 09' C14, but that did not go through to my satisfaction. I then inquired about the fjr. He asked which fjr was I inquiring about, shocking..only one listed on the internet, as it turns out they had just taken an 04' w/10k miles 2 days earlier.
Actually, since I was at work, I had the wife(rider also) go and check it out and drop a deposit on it, till I could get there. SN(2 months prior- an 04' w/24k got away from me- True story- walked into Bob Lundsford Honda and the guy salesman walked right in front of me, before I could speak and put a sold tag on it.) Back to Wild West. The wife liked the bike, put down a deposit. Two days later, I drove down and looked at the bike. They had just put on a new metz-tire on rear. The bike was in excellent condition; Probably never tasted a rainy day; darn you could still smell the newness of the machine. I noticed the front tire had a cut on the side, Moody; without hesitation said they would replace it. (Wow!) Did I mention it was Moody's early day out and he stayed late to accommodate this deal. Made the purchase with a great price. Drove away happy. Week later Moody calls and says that previous owner (traded for a 4x4 -has lot's of toys I hear) dropped of a set of keys and owners manual. Wow! 2, yea that is expected, but hey...how many salesmen would have just shelved that into the desk for months or so. Week after that; I was reading the threads on this forum concerning north american fjr's were shipped with the liner bag for the saddle bags. Called up Moody, and asked if he could contact the prev. owner. 2hrs, later Moody called me back and said owner would drop them off the next day-just plain forgot about them. Wow#3. I rode out and picked them up, crisp and clean bags, never been used.
In my opinion, being in many a dealerships from cars to motorcycles, I have to say my experience of them selling me this bike was great! No surprises, great salesmanship, and excellent after the sale follow-thru.
I know they don't sell, Yamaha's, but hey not everyone can be perfect.
