hate chains....is the Shelby chain drive??
Don't panic. It's just like our FJR. Good ole shaft drive. To the rear wheel(s) even.

You mean like the FJR?Interesting but the $22k+ price dissuades. Not to mention nearest dealer 120 miles away. To adjust idle: take it to your dealer. To clear a code: take it to your dealer...
Can't alter the idle on a Gen 3 FJR. Don't know if a dealer can. What I meant was you cannot change/adjust idle or much else on a modern KTM unless you have the factory authorized computer - $2,500. At least that's what my two KTM pals tell me (990 and 1190). They are trying to figure out how to finagle one of these devices so they can do their own tuning/service etc.
I'm not offended--I agree! 100%! And I'm thinking this is the LAST European car I'm going to ever own. (But it is a heckuvalot of fun to drive--6 speed stick, clamshell drop-top, light colored seats that don't get as hot in the summer sun, 300hp)No offence but, that is exactly why you don't buy cars like that.
All car makers are headed that direction though. I could cite so many examples of that high end car nonsense owning an independent service shop in an affluent neighborhood. The shop doesn't have access to all the dealer network specialty scan tools, which makes it hard for them too.
Not bad!One word...
Corvette
The new C7s are freaking awesome...
Def allot bang for the buck.
$60k buys you a ton of fun, and you can still work on them yourself.
As fun as done of the European stuff is, it's just too much hassle.
4 door pickup and a vette is a great combo, along with the FJR and an FZ09 !
TOTALLY COVERED
