WINDSHIELD BOLT W COVER

I ordered a Cee Bailey windshield today and was looking at the bolt cover on my 06 and am not to sure of the way to remove the cover without breaking it. Any help? thanks

One of the tabs on the blue "W" on my windshield popped out. Get down low and look up at the bottom of the "W" and you will see two torx screws. I removed them to loosen the "W" and snapped it back in. I didn't remove it all the way. I don't have the shop manual but figure this to be the way to remove the Painted W for a shield removal.
