Windshield edging

Anyone buy edging from e-bay for FJR. I never noticed before that part of the stock windshield has a small edge bead, and it will take a lot of force to install. I am afraid I will break something if I force it too much Anyone have this problem?

Not sure what edging you mean but I just got some Seang Micro-swirl edging from the company--too many bad experiences on e-bay. Purchased 4 ft of the stuff and installed it this morning. It took about five minutes to put it on the windshield with no problems. Just started on one lower edge and used my hand to firmly knock it into place. Took the first ride this afternoon. Some improvement but not flawless. Debating whether I'll keep it or not.

I installed the Micro Swirl also not sure if it make a big difference yet, need more miles and faster speeds

I'm curious. What advantage does the edging provide?

At around $12/foot save your money...in my experience it's not worth it.

I rode with it for a complete year & after I took it off there was no difference.
