Hi,
When I removed the original windshield on my AE, there was a non-removable, black gasket stuck to it's bottom. I hoked up a new gasket for the CalSci using very thin, foam weather-stripping, but it turns out that the OEM gasket is available for around $3.00 (US). According to the invoice, it's part number 3P6-2838G-00-00. Note that this is for a US 2006 AE; can't tell you if it's the same part for other models.
