Windshield movement-normal?

Noticed the other day as I was cleaning the windshield on my FJR ('03) that there was some movement that I don't know if it was always that way.

If you grab the screen at the top, you can move it from it's "at rest" position and move it forward about 1/4".

Anyone else notice this, is it normal?

You don't mention if the screen is up or "at rest".

Mine has about the same movement. Also slight movement left and right. Always been like this.

Sounds normal for my 05

Same with my '05. Sometimes I notice a little movement from wind gusts at freeway speed.

Let me clarify that I noticed this as the screen was in the full-down postion. I have a V-Stream screen on and wasn't sure if the larger screen was creating an issue.

Speaking of windshields and not wanting to hijack this thread. What about the plastic "w" pieces on the outside? Mine seem to be loose, is this normal, if not how do I tighten them up? All I can see is rivet type things on the inside of the shield.

Pronomian, just take a Philips-head screwdriver and check the screws to see that they are snug-these screws are plastic so take it easy.
