Okay here is my question on windshields. I just took a 2300 mile ride from Phoenix, AZ to Tampa, FL on an 08 FJR I bought. It has the stock shield, seat was in the low position and bars all the way back. I'm 5' 11" with a 32" inseam. Well the stock shield sucked. It was okay off the interstate when you needed some fresh air and were going slower, but at Interstate speeds there was way to much wind and buffeting. I live and ride in Florida where it rains a lot in the summer and is hot as heck. I am looking for a shield that I can use on the highway and around town and is tall enough to keep the rain off when I'm cruising around Florida. I see a lot of folks on this site prefer the Rifle, while some others like the Cee Bailey.

Bottom line, sned a note and tell me which one you have and why you like and chose that particular one.

Thanks,

First, it's bad form to piggyback your question on someone else's thread. Second, you're on a bike, not in a car, you're going to get some weather impact. Third, what was your previous bike? "It rains a lot in the summer and is hot as heck" Duh, the rain cools you down, eh?

Dave1...check out the two Rifle threads in Parts and Accessories. Plenty of first person testimonials there.
