Ok dumb question riding to WFO and useing a Zumo with ear plugs,(can't afford helmet setup yet) Weather 100+ would you be riding with shield down or up?

Have nolan helmet stock shield. No Yamaha talls available untill august can get V-stream but would it be to uncomphortable riding with it up?

Have to order quick suggestions? :dribble:

I didn't realize you have to pick either up or down. I adjust mine constantly, depending on conditions.

Whatever you go with, I'd recommend some Skyway windshield spacers, unless you get a Rifle with tuning block. Less back pressure good.

Put the stocker back on and leave it down. I run mine that way most of the year and only toss on the V-Stream when temps get really frigid- like way down into the 50's. ;)

Simply put.....a Great Read on Heat and Motorcycling.

Although I happen to slightly disagree with #1...it's only because of the extremes I would take in keeping an evaporative cooling vest charged for a ride.

At 100+ the windshield doesn't make much of a difference IMO. I mix it up and run my +4 +3 year round.

up, down, middle, whatever works at the moment. Spead your legs to catch the wind too.

You will find that at night you are riding with it up to keep the bugs off your visor.
