Ditto what Auburn said. Although I did hit a bump that sent my gps into my lap and down my leg and eventually on to FR 99 to terminate it's life. :angry2:

Just rode the length FR25 and also the trip up FR99 to Windy Ridge the

first week of August. Roads were fine but lots of slumps and frost

heaves. It'll give you suspension a work out. Great roads and

scenery along the way. Was my first time in the area.

Road all of that stuff this weekend. The only road that I would not ride again is the top of 23 [18 mile gravel shortcut to Randle] which is the wash-boards from hell.

Also here are some roads that I forgot how much fun they were:

142 from Goldendale, WA to Lyle.

Centerville Hwy from Hwy 97 south of Goldendale to Lyle

Glenwood-Goldendale Road

From Goldendale to Mabton [bickleton Hwy - Goldendale Hwy - Glade Road]

Trout Lake - Glenwood Road

Cispus Road - 76 which comes out at Iron Creek Campground on 26

Hwy 99 to Windy Ridge

Hwy 26 to Windy Ridge

Skate Creek Road is cool but the king of pot holes and frost heaves.

And no, the Yakama Indian's won't let you through the gates at White Swan to go to Glenwood. Later I looked at the gravel switchbacks on a old recreation map and decided that they might have saved my life.
