Women’s Football Returns to New Orleans

The New Orleans Blaze women’s tackle football team will play its first home game of the 2007 season on April 28 at Muss Bertolino Stadium in Kenner. The New Orleans Blaze was formed in 2001 as a franchise of the National Women’s Football Association. The team, originally called the New Orleans Spice, is composed of women from around the metro area and is one of a growing number of women’s football teams around the country.
