I got my Works Performance Shock today and it's installed. It feels great in the garage.....
Like all higher grade shocks, compression and rebound are independently adjustable. I ordered a semi-stiff spring and when I installed the shock I lengthened it a bit for about 3/4" higher tail.
Compression damping now feels pretty close to my R1. I might need to back off the rebound just a smidge.....
Works does a LOUSY job of setting up the remote reservoir so it can be easily attached to the subframe. I had to change the angle on several fittings and turn a couple of things around so it would fit, but after everything, it's a super-sano installation.
I didn't ride the bike after installation...... there was a complication...... I seperated my shoulder while I was torquing a bolt..... strange body angle and a bit of stupidity during the operation...... so I'll ride it tomorrow after the pain goes down a bit.
