Hi everyone, I like to work on my bike. I'm not expert so there's a limit to where I can go but having a workshop manual let's me decide what is and what's not possible for me. The problem is down here in New Zealand there doesn't seem to be a Haynes Manual available for a 2015 Yamaha FJR1300. Looking online there are lots of options for "workshop manuals" but not a lot of detail. Does anyone have a reliable link to a reputable supplier that they have purchased from so that I can do the same?

To reiterate, my bike is a Gen III 2015 FJR. I love this bike. I have had it less than one month and already done 8000 km!!

Can't you get one through a local Yamaha dealer? Not inexpensive but they are the real deal. You might find a used one somewhere...

Thanks everyone. All sorted. I also didn't realise that Yamaha sold them via their publications website. I doubt if any dealer in NZ would sell these. They'd worry that they were being denied money by not having me take the motorcycle to them for repair.

Alan,

If you search on-line, you can often find people selling the Service Manual for your year and model FJR. Be aware that there are lots of scammers, of course, but I can't help with that. Most sellers are selling CD copies (pirated) of the paper manual. Most of these are SCANNED copies of the book, meaning that you cannot Search the manual for every occurrence of the word "clutch." You can only Search for chapter titles, on scanned copies. If you do find somebody selling the Service Manual on-line, be sure you are buying the paper book, and not a cheap CD.
Yamaha never sold the shop manual as a CD; only the dealers get them. The official paper book usually costs about US$100.00 here, from any dealer. Copy and print out the pages you need for any job, and keep them in a ring binder. That will keep your paper copy of the Shop Manual clean and new.
