Thats great news, hopefully it will tempt some of the top American riders into the worlds. It must bounce the existing teams budget up significantly though, and I bet it's the riders who have had to take a cut if they want to race.

It can't be cheap, but it also can't cost more than going to Phillip Island, can it? Especially with the current exchange rate. And they leave all the support classes at home for this one, running with the AMA series instead.

You'll like watching this race. It's a very cool track. Not as pretty as Barber or Road America, but long, fast, and with corners that will raise the hair on your neck just watching them on TV. If the show the AMA races over there, you might have already seen it.

Or tempt the teams into hiring one. ;)

Speaking of riders, I'm hoping for a great set of wild card riders for this one. I'm guessing Ben Spies will get a start. He's seems to have the "Most Likely to Race in Europe" title wrapped up right now, though there's more talk of him going to MotoGP than SBK. I'd really, really like to see Mat Mladin in the SBK race. He's been so good over here for so long, I just want to see him race against the rest of the world. And, of course, your boy Hodgson will be spending the summer here. At least, the last I heard he would over here running for Honda.

Re Hodge, thats correct hopefully he can do detter than on the Ducati.

I think Spies should have gone to world level this year, he is world class. He needs to go to WSBK first though rather than straight into MGP I reckon. I would put Mladin and Spies top 5 as wild cards in the WSBK for sure. Just don't let DuHamel waist another ride like he did last year eh?

Looking forward to watching.
