It can't be cheap, but it also can't cost more than going to Phillip Island, can it? Especially with the current exchange rate. And they leave all the support classes at home for this one, running with the AMA series instead. It must bounce the existing teams budget up significantly though, and I bet it's the riders who have had to take a cut if they want to race.
Or tempt the teams into hiring one.Thats great news, hopefully it will tempt some of the top American riders into the worlds.
Re Hodge, thats correct hopefully he can do detter than on the Ducati. It can't be cheap, but it also can't cost more than going to Phillip Island, can it? Especially with the current exchange rate. You'll like watching this race. It's a very cool track. Not as pretty as Barber or Road America, but long, fast, and with corners that will raise the hair on your neck just watching them on TV. If the show the AMA races over there, you might have already seen it.

Speaking of riders, I'm hoping for a great set of wild card riders for this one. I'm guessing Ben Spies will get a start. He's seems to have the "Most Likely to Race in Europe" title wrapped up right now, though there's more talk of him going to MotoGP than SBK. I'd really, really like to see Mat Mladin in the SBK race. He's been so good over here for so long, I just want to see him race against the rest of the world. And, of course, your boy Hodgson will be spending the summer here. At least, the last I heard he would over here running for Honda.
