Also, the 05's are still worth more than the 03-04 models, therefore requiring less money to make up the difference between the costs of the 05-06 models.

Still don't see the mass exodus that people are reffering to though.

By the way, just got my 4 year YES back from Yammie, sent it to D&H on the 5th October, got it back on the 12th, the day the factory warranty expired, now that is service.

Way to go D&H and Yamaha, makes my 05 even more attractive as a long term steed.

My '05 stays too!

Will trade when they do Red or Black maybe the '07's or '08's.

MJ :D

I'm keeping my 05 as well. No heat issues for me either, and I don't need the adjustable seat and bars. Most interesting for me is the wider ratio trans. But not enough to buy one. If I had an 03 or 04, the temptation to have a FAST bike might make me get one, but since I already have a blue one, I'll sit tight a few years.
Hey Bob! I'm keeping my 05' also for the long haul. (The real reason for this post is the wife walked in and saw your avatar, said it needs a face mask!)

My '05 is paid for. Most farkles are "on board." Have a 4 yr YES. I'm keepin' mine. :D

Now, if desert metallic...OK...OK...don't go there!

I love galaxy blue. I love galaxy blue.

I'll keep the '05 for the foreseeable future. However, the FZ1/6 or Buell Ulysses are tempting me and my ever depleting bank account... :erm:

I'm with most everyone. I'm keeping my '01! I've gotten so used to reading my speedo in KMs that I don't know that I could make the transition back to MPH! Besides, since I'm such a good dude... all you other "gotta have the latest and greatest" fellas can use it as a yardstick for the progress of the FJR. Mine isn't that farkled (relatively speaking).
