Suggest you search the classifieds... seems like someone's always selling one there. For example: '07 FJR. This one is nice, actually. It's in one of the more unique Yammy colors, has several farkles (the one catching my eye is the Rifle windshield), and miles aren't too bad (37,000 actually isn't very high for one of these bikes). Do a fly and ride or have it shipped. Get Garauld to paint the grab bar for you if the scuff bothers you.

Also have a look at eBay Motors. That's where I found mine. Had to drive from Albuquerque, NM to Casper, WY in the middle of winter to get her, but it was totally worth it.

Cycletrader.com might also be of some use, but you have to wade down through the dealer listings to find the private party sales.

You''re shopping in the right place. +1 on the classifieds suggestion. Not a week goes by that there isn't another FJR for sale here. Forum members are a little more trustworthy than folks ya don't know... (did I just say that???) All 06 and newer FJR's have ABS by the way. My 05 has them, but it was an option that year.

Hi Peter - bought my wife a different bike about two months ago so we are selling our FJR.

Blue 2005 ABS model. She's been in my garage from about 1,200 miles until now - 35,000 miles or so. I think it's worth about $5,500. Just saw your add/post and thought I would run it by you. I love to ride it long distances...maybe we could work out a delivery?

I got an 08 in LA for $7500, warranty until next august, new stock shock new stock seat and new mufflers.and a new throttle body due to dealer screw up. and only 47000 miles.

Fly down and ride home.

There are lots of FJR's that come up for sale. If you watch Craigslist, cycletrader and the "for sale" section of this forum, you will find one to your liking in short order.
