I'm looking for a pair of fairly clean Gen 1 mufflers. The originals, without cats in them.

I've got a pair of clean non-perfect ones from my 05.

Not perfect as in dings in both. They also have a half "trooper mod" done to both.

The mufflers (cans) do not have cat converters in them... the cats are further upstream just under the engine sump where the header pipes merge.

Not true on the second Gen bikes. Starting in 2006 they put secondary cats in the cans, as well as the two obvious ones in the header pipes. Some second Genners have gone to 1st Gen cans to get rid of the cats.

Apologize about the poor quality and dirt. They were sitting in the box on the shelf.

The cause of the dent was the right side bag hitting/levering into the can when my bag ran into Marty's.

I have a right side with 2 dents in top where previous owner(always blame them stupid *******s don't we) dropped the right side bag

on it, perfect indentations from the chingaderras that stick into the holes when you mount the bags. anyhow if you want a pic

i will need phone # as I am way too stupid to get them to a computer. Shipping was $20.00 +/- on one can I sent to Calif. so will do it for

the freight as the rats in my shed want to upgrade their environment to a more western look. can't see the dents with bags on.

Are you still looking for cans? I have the stocks off of my 05. Since I have owned the bike I have never even un wrapped them from bubble wrap from the PO. I can un wrap them and take photos for ya.
