WTB Gen II heated throttle

I have the throttle grip with the wires that tuck into the throttle housing on a gen 2 or newer. The wires frayed on mine. Fixed them once, they broke again.

I wonder if the grips with the wire on the outside of the throttle housing might work. Anyone know?
