I'm looking for an FJR1300 original version HeliBar riser plate (top triple clamp) without the "rise" built in. Part number is HRT076 fitting late model FJR's ('06/07/08). It was intended to be used with Heli's separate riser blocks if you wanted increased bar height.

Heli has now introduced the HRT076-2 with two handlebar mounting positions and the "rise" built in, but this doesn't exactly meet my needs. I checked and their old style stock is depleted.

Here's your chance to try out the new Heli offering (with adjustability) and have an outlet for the old part. The swap with be easy now that your original ignition switch bolts have been drilled out.

Thanks in advance.

That sounds like a great plan B and a great price, Chris D. But I would like to take this whole handlebar relocation one step further, if possible.

What I have noticed on my other bikes is that when I angle the handlebar ends up so the grips are nearly level with the ground, my wrist pain is dramatically reduced on long rides. This is easy to do bikes with conventional tubular handlebars but not so easy on the new FJR. My plan is to buy a triple clamp plate that still has enough room to install a custom made set of wedge riser blocks between the plate and the bars without pushing the cables/hoses past their limit. I mocked it up with temporary brackets, and I saw that I can get about 2" extra grip rise without any extra cable/hose length being required.

The new Heli's are an option, but I will need to machine off some of the rise to make room for the wedge adapters.

Ideally, I would like to buy a riser plate (MCL or -02 Heli) with the handlebar pad tapped holes missing. I have means machining the inboard slope on the handlebar pads and adding the tapped holes at the new angle. I asked MCL and they said they weren't interested in making a custom version. I haven't asked Heli about this yet but maybe you have a good contact now within the company (????)

Thanks for your reply and consider me a possibility for your group buy if my other plan doesn't pan out.

Looks like plan B is becoming a reality. I ended up buying the new Heli during the group buy. It looks like I may be able to squeeze in some custom wedge blocks (in the forward position, at least) if Heli's standard offering isn't enough to let me go 500+mi/day in the saddle.
