I bought some pattern pieces from Amazon for about $15 a pair. They for just fine. The only real difference I can see is that the runner portion is riveted to the peg as opposed to being screwed like the OEM peg. They've been fine for a few thousand miles so far.

 
You sent me that. I guess I'm just paranoid because I do a fair amount of standing on long trips.
