WTB rear shock absorber for 2013 FJR

Im looking for a replacement rear shock to replace the OEM assembly that started leaking recently. Either a gently used OEM or aftermarket unit will do.

You have an 18 ES and a 13 A, which shock assy are you looking for?

I’m looking for a shock that will fit the 2013 A. I’ve put 175,000 mikes on it and finally the shock has gone kaput!

Perhaps the best option is to buy a Gen. 3 shock from a Yamaha parts supplier. I hear they are cheap.

Gen 3 shock assy 1MC-22210-50-00 is the least expensive option. The price seems to float around a bit. We bought one last year for $326 best price I could find using Google today was from Babbits Yamaha for $386. If you got 175,000 out of the original it doesn't owe you anything, buy another, the last one cost you $0.0022057143 per mile.
