I have a spare rear wheel in..... silver. But since I have a 2009 and 2014 FJR my vanity would like a matching black spare rear wheel. You would think with the 2009, 2013, and 2014 FJRs that are out there that a spare one would come up on ebay from a crashed bike from time to time. But that is not the case. I have been looking for quite a while. Spare black front rims? No problem. But not the rear.

So if anyone has one, knows of one, or finds one local on Craigslist or something, please...... let me know!

There's one on EBay right now....in the UK.

You know...... that one has been on ebay for quite some time now. Condition looks a bit worn, which I can live with. Just have been too chicken worrying about any additional import or duty fees and charges. Anybody have any valuable input on the matter?

I was eyeballing that one a month or two ago, but one jumped up in Texas for a bit less cost and wear (Neener neener! Skooter).

I've bought a few small package things from England before (an ABS sensor ring and something else) and didn't get any customs duty. I don't know what their criteria is and probably really hard to predict what that fee is. My guess would be though it likely won't get caught up..I think we'd read more in forums about it happening.

My $0.015 since it's not worth a full 2 cents.

Was the one you scored black?

If so, I am going to punch you in the face. (I really miss RenoJohn around here.)

If I find that silver wheels will fit a 2014 I would be happy to do a trade of my black wheels for silver wheels. I don't like the black wheels. Only have 3k mile on the STOCK factory tires so when I get closer to needed tires I will be ready for the trade. I have been told that late model Gen II wheels will fit the Gen IIIs. Hope so. If any body out there is interested let me know as we can do the swap in my garage or ???

I picked up a silver one last year that was easily converted to the only correct wheel color for an '09 FJR with some Scotch Brite and a can of spray paint. It's held up well and almost impossible to tell it's poof-can painted, especially when dirty.
