I am looking for a cheap stock gen 1 seat. I would even take just the rider seat. Condition not important gonna send it to russell.

Ed,I have an 05 GEN I seat (rider) for sale. I am waiting on a response from one other person. If they don't respond by tomorrow you can have it for $175.00 plus $15.00 S&H to US address only, if you are out of the USA we will have to work out the shipping cost. This is not a stock seat it was rebuilt by Rick Mayer and it didn't work for me. I then had it redone by Cycle Solutions this Spring and it was very good. I tried to modify the seat from Mayer with a Gel insert and it was better but still not what I needed. June of 2008 I went to Nevada for the WORD rally and ended up taping some foam on to the seat for added comfort. As a result there are a couple of strips of residue that will not come off of the seat leather where the tape was. I have to admit I wish this seat fit my 09 as I would use it but it doesn't so I am ordering another one for the new FJR from https://cyclesolutionsllc.com/ But like you said you are going to send it to Russell any way so condition doesn't matter, however the seat is 100% serviceable as is. The only reason I am getting rid of it is because Bambi decide to commit Hari-Kari on my 05 FJR during this years Iron Butt Rally. Insurance company totaled my bike it doesn't fit the 09. I bought Bob's seat since I wanted one that was slightly worked up from stock. I have my stock seats. Old, but in good condition (although you'll be getting it worked over by russell so that's not even an issue). PM me if you're interested. Just make me a fair offer, and I figure shipping UPS to somewhere in the states should be around, $20? (I think). Thanks.
