WTB - Time-Sert 1415A

After 2 FJR's and more oil changes than I can remember then I finally over-tightened the drain plug on my Gen II '12. It's serviceable at the moment and just weeping a bit but I would be a lot more comfortable having it fixed correctly.

So, I'm looking for someone who purchased the Time-Sert 1415A kit, fixed their bike, and now has the kit collecting dust. I'd prefer to give a fellow board member $$ than paying $130.42 for a complete kit that I will only use 1 insert of.

I'm afraid I can't help with this but I noticed you don't show where you're located. Perhaps if that was showing a member close to you would be able to hook you up.

No worries at all, and thanks for the feedback. My original 2004 was in WA but I'm in San Jose, CA now with a 2012 that serves as my commuter machine. I've updated my profile to reflect the current location.

Difficult to believe that I've only posted 66 times in over a decade....still a lot of places in the world to ride!

Thanks. I've used Helicoils and was not impressed. The Time-Sert's hold in place both top and bottom and are a much better solution overall, imho.
