My faded out bag with bad zippers just got fixed by an old-timer shoe/leather repair guy.

These bags are great when you want to haul a load...which I always do. And they expand so you can get that quick sixer before popping into your destination.

They aren't perfect, but they are good. I'm just glad the guy could fix the zipper on the bag. I rue the day I have to replace it.

I have ordered the newer style for the US folks a few years back and am willing to do it again if you like. Not the same but similar. I have both but still use the old one (same as in your pic).
Here is a pic of the new style.

i wanted to thank drc32-0 for locating his "old" Yamaha tank bag, (just like the one pictured above) and sending it to me. The condition is BETTER than mine!

i have 3 older FJR's and was, over the years, able to purchase these tank bags new (some were leftovers) for each of my FJR's. i LOVE these tank bags so much i use them on my other bikes as well. It's pretty funny to see a YAMAHA tank bag on a green ZX14, Hayabusa, Gixxer 1000 or BKing. They work that well for me.

i appreciate the time and effort that drc32-0 put into making this happen. As far as i am concerned, drc32-0 is THE man and THANK him for his generosity !!

Additionally, i want to commend both this forum and the members who make it such a great place. Respectful, knowledgeable and generous members all sharing thoughts, experiences and ideas. Honestly, this is one of the BEST forums that i hang out on.

thanks again drc32-0 !

I've got one exactly like that one...faded out and everything.Interested?

Denny/drc32-0 IS the man!

He's the main reason why the SE Ohio Rambles are run on such great roads...he's been very helpful to me over the years.
