OK. I may be selling the bike, but that doesn't mean I can't keep adding stuff while I'm waiting for someone to come up with enough money to make me happy, does it?

So, I've ordered a CCS-100 and vacume canister from a friend at a very special price and I also have a 'Bergman' bracket coming - but that's just apiece of bent metal painted black. Serviceable, but ugly.

I am looking for a black anodised left side Skyway bracket for a Gen-II.

If you bought one and have never used it, PM me (if there's any room left in my in-box). I'd order it from his web site except that he wants quite a bit more for the bracket than I'm paying for the entire system delivered!!

You just get one from Skyway hisself.....

There is something obscene about paying $75 delivered for the device (including the canister & the bent metal mount) and then another $89 plus shipping for the bracket to hold it. If someone has one sitting around they'd like to liquidate, then I'm a player. Otherwise it'll be the mount included in the $75 I paid for me.

For a total of $164 you will have cruise control with a switch that is probably as factory looking as you could hope for from aftermarket. I've got the bracket and it's well worth the cost.

If someone had one lying around they'd like to liquidate, then they could have turned their unused investment into some cash and I would have a more professional-looking installation.

And, while I can't argue with the logic, when things are 'tight', economically speaking one has to watch where the dollars flow - and to pay considerably more for the fancy bracket than for the thing that it holds is very hard to justify. When I was working, it was not a problem. Now? That's quite another story. Function over form.

I can sell you one for $350 dinars!
You probably remember that I did that once here with my smuggler - I used something like your line and gave a tongue-in-cheek price in Kuwaiti Dinars that made the offer work out to the original US dollar price of the Smuggler when new, but it sure LOOKED like it was about a third because it is something like 3.5:1.

But you haven't bothered to specify the country of the currency, so I choose to pay you in Iraqi Dinar, which puts your offer at about 30 US cents - Accepted.

Does that include shipping?

No shipping will be extra. Just send me an even $1100 and we will call it good. Shipping to canada is expensive.

I have indeed. In fact I'd probably do it with only a single spring-loaded toggle because I'd leave the power applied all the time. That entire on-off is almost redundant - if something went wrong I'd probably hit the engine kill switch.

My CC (which came with Audiovox's vacume chamber and a bent metal switch pad) arrived yesterday.

I'm going to head out to get a long drill bit to make drilling the tab simpler.

I think I'll use the supplied keypad for now and rewire it later.

When will I do the work? This week, I think.

Yep, that's how I did it on my '05 - a single toggle (SPDT, momentary contact, center off) to control the SET and RESUME functions. I just left it powered on the whole time and had no issues. I used the exact parts specified by BrunDog.
