The previous pics provided a hint of 3 of WV's seasons, here is a few of the 4th. These were taken out back a little while ago. Bear in mind that I was finishing a chilly but pleasant ride across some of these mountain tops yesterday evening at 5:30. Here in 4 season country, if you don't like the weather, wait a day. Guess Ol' Man Winter grew restless overnight.

Gosh , I can't wait to see your land when there are leaves on the trees. I'll bet it's just beautiful! So, how does the driveway look? Is it still covered in ice? Is that a house I see off in the distance of that first pic? Is that pond in the 3rd pic yours?

Yup, little farm is Shadow's, Creta's and my heaven on earth. Driveway still ice-bound except for the path I chopped to get the bike out - desperate times call for desperate measures. The house in the distance is my neighbor's silo, barn and farmhouse; the closer, less noticeable house in the "V" is an abandoned house on that same farm. That pond is receding floodwater along the Meadow River and is the result of a heavy rain/snowmelt event. The same storm caused the Greenbrier River flooding as in pic from the previous post.

Our farm pond still looks like this:
