As received from Yamaha today

Whatever else you may be doing on Monday 10 September, at 16.30 CET, make sure you are within a mouse click of an internet connection to the Yamaha Motor Europe Website. Why? That will be the exact moment that Yamaha lifts the covers off its exciting 2008 model range of motorcycles and scooters.

This first chance to behold Yamaha's latest engineering marvels is an appointment not to be missed.

Thanks for the heads up!

You work for Yamaha or something? Your post reads like Yamaha ad copy. Do I really have to be available the exact moment the covers are lifted? But thanks for the heads up, I guess.

That's because it is ad copy, as received by anyone signed up to their newsletter.

Nice.

I wonder if the Yamaha US website will have a similar thing happening. Not for nothing, but you Europeans got the Fantastic FJR a few years before us, so I don't want to get my hopes up too much if I see something on the euro web site.

Thanks

Thanks for the info, Howard, but for us Yanks, it's pretty much useless info as we usually don't get what the rest of the world gets to enjoy. You *******s!

:p
