Yamaha Heated Grips

I’m installing a Heat Troller to control the Yamaha heated Grips on my FJR and can’t figure out if the OEM grips are wired in parallel or in series. All help appreciated. Ian, Iowa

The Yamaha grips are wired in series.

This is a schematic of the Yamaha heated grip circuit. The square doohickey in the lower right corner is Yamaha's temperature controller.
