I understand -- intellectually -- the desire a lot of riders have for the retro 60s (and earlier) motorbikes. So I figured that a least one or two peeps here might like them, too.

"Retro" bikes are a hot trend right now, so kinda cool to see Yanaha jump on the bandwagon.

I got my Triumph Bonnevile about 4 years back now, just right before this trend started. My dealer says he's selling the new Bonnevilles as fast as he is getting them, and has half a dozen Ducati Scramblers on order as he ran out of them.

Appearently a few tv/movies have featured such bikes (The latest Jurrassic Park movie, The Walking Dead, etc...) and have likely contribruted to the popularity....

I do really like my Bonnie...although I think us old folks are buying them for different reasons than the hipsters and millenials...

Ya, Kawi just ****-canned their retro-800. No market. Expect to see this gone within a year.
