Thank you for sending the gen mar info saread...I called and they say yes...they will fit the 09 and it sounds like all I need...cool...three farkles today : ) I was thinking I would need to do something about the seat, but wow...this seat is much improved since my 05...you can feel the gel in it and it feels good so far...

Nice new ride, Great pics. I saw one in person the other day. I like the flakes in the paint. Also like the FJR emblem on the sides of the fairing. Ditto what the fellow said about the intersections and left turners. I make a game out of looking out for that other guy that is not paying attention. Keeps me alert and focused. Enjoy the new ride and represent us well.................

Yes you want to wear your Yamaha jacekt when repoving those stickers. Keeps that "hot" air off of you.

Very nice bike and glad you are over your med problems. I like my bike so much and want to hear the bike and trraffic that I don't listen to music or radio. I think it is safer.

Thanks for all the welcomes and comments...I am going crazy waiting...arrrggggggggghhhhhh! no farkles yet...I will see how everything feels on the road first...the only thing ordered so far is a new Joe Rocket Yamaha riding jacket...darn, the sun just came out making the wait even harder.

Welcome. I've got a black 08 but it is waiting on some parts to be done with Garauld due to a guy backing into it at a coffee shop. I have ordered the protection bars but needed them at that time. Farkle away. I love the black beauty and get lots of lookers---especially when it is clean, .

I was wondering when someone would say something about the Yamaha Jacket...I literally just got in the garage from bringing it home...it was cold out and with in the first five minutes of getting home I had the sticker off ......................................I love this bike...I like the jacket...but I don't like the way Joe Rockets fit, hmmmmmmmmmm

Congrats, like others have said the black rims are sweet. I like the lower tank panel blacked out as well.

But a couple of things Yamaha missed , flat black front calipers (to match the back one) & gloss black powder coat fork legs (oooow Yea) B)

Wonder if the black wheels would look good on my 07 ???

Yeah, the first thing I noticed was I wanted the fork legs black also...they will probably do that in 2010...
