I was hoping this would fly under the radar... oh well... Thanks for all the birthday thoughts! 44 is just a number... I'm firmly convinced you're only as old as you act... my maternal Grandfather was a spry old guy full of lots of life up in to his late 80's...
My birthday yesterday was great. I got to ride the FJR 600+ miles across the great state of Texas, back from a 5 day trip to Big Bend with 8 other guys... Weather was cooperative (given that it was cold as a witches *****, but I had electrics and was nice and toasty), the PR2's handled very well, and nobody had any road, wildlife, or LEO encounters, despite some sustained "performance award generating" speeds.
Then to top it all off, I got home to my 3 daughters and wife who had decorated the house and cooked me a special birthday dinner. Doesn't get much better than that.
